Dr Hasegawa you made a salient point here as Timor-Leste has much to share in how to rebuild, how to create peace with neighbours and how to be a leader in the international arena. There is much to learn from this small island state.

Thank you for your comment that the rest of the world has much to learn from Timor-Leste. I hope that the Timorese leaders, President José Ramos-Horta and Prime Minister Xanana Gusmão, will help the international community implement the actions identified in the Pact for the Future.
