[NOTICE] Status and Problems of Refugees and Immigrants in Japan will be assessed by President Saburo Takizawa of UNHCR Association of Japan and Ms. Mio Sato IOM Chief of Mission in Japan (19/08/2018)

　The manner of accepting refugees and immigrants in Japan is regarded problematic in the international community. Saburo Takizawa, President of UNHCR Association of Japan and IOM Chief of Mission Mio Sato will express their views following a presentation by students of the University of Tokyo on the current situation regarding the refugees and immigrants in Japan which was presented at the Academic Council on the United Nations System (ACUNS) during its Annual Conference in Rome on July 14, 2018.

	滝澤　三郎 国連UNHCR協会理事長　東洋英和女学院大学客員教授 　東京都立大学大学院博士課程を経て法務省入省。カリフォルニア大学経営大学院MBAと米国公認会計士（CPA）資格取得後、1981年国連ジュネーブ本部採用。UNIDO(国連工業開発機構)ウィーン本部財務部長などを経て、2002年から2006年までUNHCRジュネーブ本部財務局長。2007年から2008年8月までUNHCR 駐日代表。国連大学客員教授を経て、2009年4月東洋英和女学院大学教授に就任。2009年から2014年まで東大大学院総合文化研究科特任教授を併任。
	佐藤　美央 IOM 駐日代表・日本国際平和構築協会副理事長 　国際基督教大学教養学部人文科学科1992年に卒業後、1997年、国際基督教大学大学院行政学研究科博士前期課程修了。在籍中に外務省の専門調査員として在ロス・アンジェルス総領事館に2年間赴任。1997年より、公益財団法人　日本国際問題研究所研究助手、2001年より国際移住機関（IOM）に勤務。ＪＰＯとして、ケニア、ベルギー、その後、インドネシア、イラク（ヨルダン駐在）、アフガニスタンで勤務し、2016年10月からIOM駐日事務所代表に就く。また、ジャパン・プラットフォーム事務局（2005年）、内閣府国際平和協力本部事務局（国際平和協力研究員、2011-12年）にも勤務。
